"This clean hotel is a short block's walk to the ocean and the oceanfront tourist shops in Kailua. It has a convenient shortcut across their property that takes you to an open patio-style restaurant that we found very good and with reasonable prices, but don't expect room-service. Parking sites on the premises may be full, but they are near enough to the public parking area so as not to be a problem. The hotel's staff treated us like friends and went out of their way to help and accomodate our every request."

This Kona Hotel is located in the quaint and historic fishing village of Kailua-Kona, once a playground for Hawaiian Royalty. Today, the town serves as a historical waterfront area where the grand Mokuaikaua church and the Hulihee Palace are located. The Kona Seaside Hotel is located a few steps from shops, restaurants, Hawaiian entertainment, and ocean activities.

Two freshwater outdoor swimming pools, scuba, snorkeling, parasailing, deep sea fishing, sunset cruises are all within minutes of the hotel. Tennis courts are two minutes by car. The Kona Seaside Hotel features an exercise room, but for more of a workout, Gold's Gym is one block away.
