The oceanfront Outrigger Keauhou Beach is located on the Kona Coast upon ten acres of tide pools and tropical gardens. The Outrigger Keauhou Beach Resort is 12 miles from Kona International Airport (about a 20-minute drive) and three miles from Kailua-Kona town (an eight-minute drive). Shuttle service is available to Keauhou Shopping Village (with over 40 shops) and Kona Country Club. The resort is one mile from Kona Country Club's 36 holes of sophisticated golf. Onsite recreation facilities include a swimming pool with wading pool, fitness center, hospitality room, gift and sundry store, Kolona Salon and Spa, and six tennis courts. Onsite dining includes Kalanikai Bar & Grill, Kamaaina Terrace, and the Verandah Lounge. Other hotel services include valet laundry, dry cleaning, complimentary newspaper delivery, and luggage storage. The resort also has parking for a fee, an activity desk, ATM, concierge, laundry facilities, and meeting rooms (with available catering).
The hotel has 309 rooms on seven floors. Non-smoking and handicap-accessible rooms are available. Each room has air-conditioning, an alarm clock radio, balcony, cable television, coffeemaker, dataport, telephone, voicemail, and safe. September 22, 2005 through October 2, 2005 onsite pool will be closed for replastering. Guest may use the two pools at the sister property Outrigger Royal Sea Cliff.
